TIA visit to Illumi

TIA students had an amazing time visiting the one-of-a-kind Illumi lights display in Mississauga. Illumi had more than 20 million brilliant lights on a 600,000 square-foot site, the equivalent of 10 football fields making this an extraordinary trip for the school. There were plenty of photo and selfie opportunities. Students were excited and thrilled to interact with the Majestic Tree of lights standing at 47 meters high with the 44,000 interactive luminous spheres. Illumi is brought to life by cutting-edge programming technologies, high-definition projections, jaw-dropping state-of-the-art animatronic creatures, thousands of light structures, and over 20 million brilliant LED bulbs. It is the world’s largest LED lights display. TIA students experienced a walk through 13 magical universe’s theme sections with their friends enjoying a multimedia journey around the world. In addition, the Cavalia horses a herd of 200 sparkling stallions, inspired by Cavalia’s white show-horses, Winter themed The Infinite Poles and Land of Frost, Children inspired The Happiest Farm, The Crazy Boulevard, Halloween-themed The Scarlet Spiders spooky trail, The Colourful Animal Kingdom and The Tunnel of Love to name a few sections. All in all, our TIA students had a wonderful journey and experience walking through the magical display of lights.
